We all have excuses that we use to justify our lack of progress or failure to pursue our dreams.
Often, we tell ourselves that we are waiting for a more opportune place or time to begin.
However, the truth is you can only start from where you are right now.
There is No Better Time
I hear them often… the excuses for not starting. The reasons for not doing.
And the explanations for staying miserably comfortable in your current circumstances.
The excuses fly…
Now isn’t a good time.
After things get back to normal.
When I am in a better place.
But, there is no other place.
There is no normal life.
And there isn’t a better time.
You don’t get to start from a better position, place, or time.
You are where you are.
There is just today.
And you have the same amount of time as everyone else.
Whatever you have been meaning, wanting, or dreaming of starting…
Do it today, start right now… from where you are.

Honestly, sometimes I don’t follow up on a dream or idea because I am afraid that I am going to fail at it and have wasted my time. I know better, but it’s surprising how easy it is to fall back into that pattern of thinking.
