25 Reasons to Say Yes

No.

No.

No.

We hear that word a lot in daily life.

We say it often, too.

(And some people try to say it more…)

But, “no” can be a limiting answer.

Just the word, when used in a sentence, can change the tone of a conversation.

Today, let’s be positive… let’s say yes!

The Power of Positive

When was the last time you said yes?

Not in a compliant or conciliatory manner.

But, rather, yes to life.

Yes to new things.  Yes to adventure.  Yes to getting things done.  Yes to success?

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, either way you are right.”

– Henry Ford

A positive attitude can change everything.

Magic happens when you say yes.  It can turn around a bad day. It can get things done.

It can show you opportunities that you never knew existed.

What should you say yes to?

  1. This is just what I needed today!! This week I’ve been reeling from a very unexpected, difficult opportunity. It would be uncomfortable. It would be amazing. And it would change my life. It would be really easy to say “Oh HELL no!” to such a scary change. But, after getting through my initial freaking-out, I’m actually considering whether it would be a good choice for me and my family. Instead of going with my initial reaction of No, I’m thinking it through as a possible, “You know what, why not??”

    Just Say Yes! 🙂

  2. This is a great post and a reminder of some important things in life that we can become accustomed to saying no to. Also, for a brilliant take on this theory, watch the movie ‘YES MAN’ with Jim Carrey! It’s really inspiring and hilarious at the same time.

    1. @JonHearty Thanks, Jon.

And believe it or not, I missed “Yes Man” with Jim Carrey. Will have to add it to my iTunes rental list. 🙂
