Well, I noticed the same with my blog (my post about the browser Rockmelt – the ultimate distraction – generated an unprecedented number of visits) and my explanation is: time management / self-development “aficionados” are for the most part also great fans of technology.

It’s interesting, because technology is both good (useful tools) and bad (distraction, interruption) for productivity.

    Keep up the good work.

    1. @marcoricci Mario… good point on the time management/tech fans connection. It is very true. 🙂

I encourage you to leave a comment with a link to your Rockmelt (or other top) post. Love to see it and sure that others would, too!

    2. @marcoricci Thanks for sharing the link.

Yes, it seems these combined “social browsers” were getting quite a bit of attention lately. I agree with you that they can present a lot of distractions and time wasting. 🙂

I too am hooked on the simplicity and speed of Chrome.

  2. Thanks for all the great material, Craig. I always look forward to catching your tweets for the nuggets that they contain. Thanks also for the offer to share our posts. I will give you two (the second being related to time management):

The first deals with the basic geometry (yes, geometry) of a good speech. It’s not linear; it’s circular. http://wp.me/pwfa1-1ud

The second deals with the management of a very short, but very important, amount of time – the first sevens seconds of a speech or presentation. http://wp.me/pwfa1-1lj

    Cheers!

    John

    1. @ZimmerJohn John, thanks for sharing! Great stuff!

Everyone should check out these two posts. I love the 2nd one about the “First Seven Seconds.”

  3. Hi Craig, your iPad commentary (#2 & #4) was the most useful to enhancing my personal productivity. Thank you for that.

This month on the Day-Timer Blog, two posts hit a popular chord, which shows where our readers’ minds are at these days – finding balance and paying taxes.

Two key issues that involve reducing stress:

    – 3 Time-Saving Tax Filing Steps that Might Save You Money: http://bit.ly/gdF9GI
    – 5 Family-Friendly Tips for Getting More of a Busy Dad’s Time: http://bit.ly/eJzyLa

Thanks for the opportunity and the great work, Jeff

    1. @DayTimer_Jeff Jeff, thanks for sharing! Love both the articles.

Readers… if you have not checked out Jeff’s posts on the Day-Timer Blog, I highly recommend it!

    1. @MagzParmenter Magz,, thanks for sharing!
