I am a big iPhone and iPad user.

So, these recommendations are for the iOS platform, iPhone and iPad.
Here are the top iOS applications that I use and recommend:
Todos, Tasks, and Lists
Clear – Clear is a simple todo list for the iPhone that has a great and enjoyable interface It received a lot of fanfare for its unique colored UI. If you just want to keep a lot of simple lists, then check out Clear.
Wunderlist – Wunderlist has long been a favorite of mine. I have written several posts about it. (See here and here.) Wunderlist is a great tool because it just gets the job done, without the fluff and bloated features of many products. It has shared lists and syncing across all platforms. I highly recommend Wunderlist.
Things – If you require a higher level of todo management, Things is the top of the heap. You get a lot of extra features, yet the UI is very straightforward. If you manage mulitple areas of responsibility or projects, I recommend Things. (Look for a review coming soon…)
Ita – Lists You Like – If you just want to make lists… check out Ita. It has one of the best and cleanest UI designs you will find on the iPhone/iPad.

DayOne Journal – DayOne is my favorite journal app. (For iPhone, iPad, and Mac…) It is clean and a pleasure to use. It has Dropbox sunc functionality to keep your entries up-to-date across all your devices. Whether you are keeping a success journal or just your personal thoughts, check out DayOne.
